TITAN Uses His Platform to Change Lives

As a high school student at St. Anthony’s TITAN remembers his friend Vince Razzo.
Though their early years looked quite different from each other, their later teenage years were similar.

Vince recalls, “My childhood was very blessed, with 2 parents who love me dearly, they gave me every opportunity to succeed in life. Growing up, I played baseball, soccer, football and basketball. I believe playing sports kept me out of trouble when I was in school. As a teenager, that all took a sharp turn when I got into a fight at a party. The host of the party was upset and threatened to beat me up with a bunch of his friends. I got scared and started to hang out with my cousin for protection. I knew he would protect me because my cousin was part of a gang. This grew into a life surrounded by gangs, violence, and destroying my body with drugs. Once I got started, I couldn’t stop. I found myself using drugs that were available to me, which were plenty. But it didn’t stop there. Before I knew it, I ended up selling and trafficking drugs in order to support the major drug habit I had created. Destruction only bred more destruction. In 2002, the police raided my parent’s house and found all kinds of drugs and drug paraphernalia scattered throughout. I was charged with Promotion of a Dangerous Drug in the 1st degree. In 2004, I was sentenced to 20 years. Looking back now, it all happened so quickly.”

CEO Titan Gilroy stresses a ‘Made-in-America’ theme

The first thing you need to know about Titan Gilroy is, yes, that’s his real name.

As owner and CEO of Titan America MFG in Grass Valley, Gilroy is about to embark on a journey that few would associate with a machine shop boss: He’s starring in his own TV show.

Gilroy, a former top amateur boxer and a former prison inmate, is the focal point of “TITAN American Built,” which will make its series debut at 7 p.m. Friday on the MAVTV cable network.

MAVTV, owned by Lucas Oil Products Inc. and headquartered in Corona, is carried locally by Dish and DirecTV. The cable channel features decidedly macho fare, including motor sports, cage fighting and numerous automotive-themed shows.

TITAN’s Now Fighting for America

While on a visit to his home island of Maui, TITAN visits an old friend’s gym, The 808 Gym. His friend John Kekino is there molding men and women to be more than just fighters, but rather men and women of FAITH.

Titan’s Story Manufactures Hope for Teens

It seems that the thread of redemption in Titan’s life finds its way into others’ lives, shaping their futures. Perhaps it’s contagious. Hang around him long enough and you just might experience it too.

Yes! That’s Right, I said it…”Made in China”… Look at those 3 simple words that we have become accustomed to seeing daily. They have become the norm… Pick up a toy, computer, phone… Look at most tags stitched into your clothing and you will see these 3 words put together. They are little but represent the cancer cells that have entered into the American body. WOW, you might think that is a little extreme but let me tell you the Truth… America, has been falling apart and we are to blame. You see, roughly about 10 years ago the United States of America fought hard to get China accepted into the “WTO”. The (World Trade Organization). The WTO is a partnership between the top trading Countries. In this partnership, rules have been put in place and all partners trade goods and products back and forth to each other (Exporting & Importing). Being in this organization benefits everyone. The WTO enforces Labor & Trading laws to create a safe and equal playing field for all involved. If a Country fails to play by the rules… Penalties will be put on them and they will suffer economically.
