The Boeing Company

America is all about going big and being the best.  That’s exactly what The Boeing Company has done.  Who knows if William E. Boeing visualized his small airplane company becoming one of America’s biggest and most successful companies for the next century after setting up shop in 1916, but that’s just what they’ve achieved. Currently headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Boeing is now the world’s largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and space, defense, and security systems.

In 2010, Boeing ranked as the second largest government contractor in the U.S. with just under $20 billion worth of contracts and also ranked number 36 on the 2011 Fortune 500 list, bringing in just under $65 billion of revenue.  There’s also a historic connection between Titan America and Boeing. Titan’s grandfather was actually a machine shop foreman for Boeing in the 1940’s. Pretty crazy, huh?
